The Shelby County Drug Free Coalition is dedicated to tackling substance abuse issues within the community. Established in 1990, the coalition serves as a platform for community members to join forces, develop strategies, and take action against substance abuse. Our organization is composed of a diverse group of individuals, including concerned citizens, educators, law enforcement officers, healthcare professionals, faith leaders, and other community representatives. Together, we work collaboratively to create a healthier and safer environment for everyone in Shelby County. We pride ourselves on being a community-focused organization that actively seeks participation from individuals and groups who share our mission. Over the years, our efforts have been recognized with awards such as the 2016 CADCA Dose of Prevention National Award and the 2018 Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Non-Profit Champion award. We are committed to continuous improvement and expansion, always welcoming new members to join us in our cause. By working together, we aim to create a drug-free future for Shelby County.
